Nancy Ann (Whitlow) Danielson

Nancy A. Danielson, 81, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at her home.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Pearl City Station on Friday, June 28, 2024 with exact time to be determined.  Nancy will be laid to rest with her husband at Greenwood Cemetery.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Nancy’s name. Nancy Ann Whitlow was born on November 24, 1942 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Omar and Marcella (Buck) Whitlow.  On November 26, 1961, Nancy was united in marriage to Larry Robert Danielson in Muscatine.  Nancy owned and operated Danielson Backhoe Services along with her husband for 35 years.  They also were owners of the N & L Campground where they often spent the majority of their time.  Nancy was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, crafting, spending time with her children and grandchildren and cruising around in her little yellow Volkswagen beetle.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her children, Kirk (Von) Danielson of Muscatine; Julie Danielson of Dunedin, Florida, Bret (Mindy) Danielson of St. Louis, Missouri and Melissa Danielson of Nevada; grandchildren, Kory Danielson, Ryan (Barb) Danielson, Sean (Alicia) Danielson, Tyler Foster, Bryson Foster, Adreanna Foster, Zachary Danielson, Paige (Daniel) Leach, Hanna (Tanner) Schafer, Kelsey (Naomi) Kintz, Nathan Hurlbut, Brock Danielson and Brayle Danielson; great grandchildren, Genevieve, Cain, Vincent, Jersey, Noah, Elizabeth, Liem and Carter; and three brothers, Bill Whitlow, Bob Whitlow and Tom (Linda) Whitlow.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry in 2008, her beloved “Sassy”; brother, Harold Whitlow and sister, Donna Jean.
