David Paul

David Paul, 81, of Muscatine passed at his home in Muscatine on Saturday, April 20, 2024.  Memorial Services for David will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday May 5, 2024 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Muscatine.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for David’s family and his arrangements.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

David Edgar Paul was born on September 24, 1942 in Richmond, Indiana the son of Donald and Irene (Petrie) Paul.  David was a painter for HON Industries retiring at the age of 67.  He coached the Muscatine Boxing Club and enjoyed cars, racing, westerns and his dogs.  He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Muscatine, where he served as a deacon.  He will be remembered for always sharing about God and Christianity. 

David will be deeply missed by his children; Denise Steahr, Shannon (Joan) Paul and Dwayne (Tammy) Paul, all of Muscatine; grandchildren, Curtis, Cory-Jo, Mindy, Isaac, David, Abby and Josh; great-grandchildren, Lexie, Evelyn and Madelyn and sister, Marcie Cates.   

David was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol and infant son, Jeffrey Joe Paul in 1964 and wife, Judy in 2023; son -in-law, Craig Steahr; sister, Lela and brother, Donald.
